On every corner, sub-cultures are nibbling away at the establishment and slowly becoming recognized as the new norm.

The hooded skateboarders and rowdy BMX kids have grown up, or are at least a bit older. These same ‘youths’ who once terrorized High Street and shopping malls are now introducing their own kids to their way of life.

What was once a pastime has morphed into a billion dollar industry which gets global coverage and big time sponsors. Everyone wants to ‘go pro’ and get a contract deal for doing something they love to do.

Whatever your passion; whether it be skateboarding, downhill, street, inline skating, snowboarding, skiing, surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, diving, racing, mountaineering, wild water rafting or skydiving. The buzz will get you. It will grab you by the throat and make you try harder.

The best thing is that complete strangers want to see you pull off your biggest trick or crash and burn trying!

Not everyone is going to make it as a pro and you know what? It doesn’t matter!

If you get a kick out of following your passion, you are going to be happy either way.
